1. PRODUCT MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
We got so much great feedback on October's Coffee & DoughNets,
"Product Strategy & Management Insights," that a return visit seemed
like a good idea, especially a session that would go into even more
depth and provide even more practical advice. Howzzabout three hours
worth? If you're a startup company in the process of developing a new
product, you won't want to miss our Product Management Workshop to be
held on Thursday, December 13, 8:00-11:00 AM. Two veteran high-tech
product executives, Larry Roshfeld and Paul Mauritz, will discuss how
to efficiently and effectively create successful, profitable products.
It will cover topics such as the product lifecycle, the role of
product management, creating products, and guaranteed ways to annoy
engineers, marketers, the sales force, and customers. The free
workshop will be at the Conference Center at 11600 Sunrise Valley
Drive in Reston, VA, and seating will be extremely limited. To sign
up, send an email to Lin Plummer at lin@netpreneur.org including your
name, title, company and phone number. Preference will be given to
entrepreneurs. BTW, if you missed it, check out the resources from
October's C&D, including the summary, transcript, video, and more.

can provide field personnel with predictive analysis capabilities,
from how quickly a human disease spreads to how many personnel will be
